Title: Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Integration Contractor As the Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Integration Contractor, your role will be to help manage the planning, implementation, and execution of IT infrastructure at the new manufacturing site. This role is technical and execution-focused — not managerial. The contractor will act as a technical integrator, ensuring alignment across network, server, cybersecurity, automation, validation, and cloud integration workstreams. The ideal candidate brings strong real-world implementation experience in regulated manufacturing environments and is comfortable operating across on-premises, hybrid, and segmented IT/OT architectures. This role will be responsible for both the manufacturing and the site office space infrastructure. This technical role requires deep infrastructure experience from strategic planning to tactical implementation, technical support, and ongoing change in a Life Sciences Manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight and quality control of IT/OT infrastructure implementation (network, servers, storage, backup, DR, segmentation).
Review and validate High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD).
Ensure alignment with Purdue Model segmentation, zero-trust principles, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate infrastructure dependencies with Automation, MES, LIMS, SCADA, and laboratory system teams.
Support integration between on-premises infrastructure and corporate/cloud environments (Azure hybrid integration).
Validate configuration standards, hardening baselines, and network segmentation controls.
Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Experience The candidate should be comfortable with:

This role exists to ensure the technical integrity, security, compliance alignment, and long-term operability of the BioBloom IT/OT infrastructure implementation. Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field a plus
Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.
5+ years in manufacturing or industrial environments (OT exposure required).
Proven experience implementing:
Segmented IT/OT networks
Cisco/Fortinet environments (or equivalent)
Hyper-V or VMware virtualization
Enterprise storage and backup (Veeam preferred)
Active Directory in regulated environments
Service Now (Incident Management; CMDB) or similar
Experience working in GMP/GxP-regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, etc.).
Familiarity with infrastructure validation support in regulated environments.
Experience with hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + Azure integration).
Work is 100% on-site in Sanford, NC. This is not a hybrid or remote role.
