Job Description

​​The ideal candidate is a strategic business leader with Healthcare integration experience, a strong technical acumen and proven expertise in building effective technology solutions in a highly matrixed environment. The role requires a track record of balancing strategic thinking, driving transformational change, and executional rigor delivering on current business priorities. This is a highly cross functional role requiring close collaboration and a jointly accountable operating model between different product business units, solutions marketing, and the lifecycle services leader. You will be charged with developing deep technical relationships with key enterprise and channel customers. Lead all projects according to company methodologies and standards and deliver on-time, on-budget, and within scope.   Utilize modern tools to manage projects and collaborate with team members and customers.  

Person Reports To – This role will report directly to the SVP.

Supervises – Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance

Essential Functions –

  • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout each project.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written.

  • Set and manage appropriate expectations both internally and externally Qualifications.

  • Thorough understanding of hospital workflows as they pertain to interface connectivity.

  • Experience navigating through complex hospital environments.

  • Experience with interfacing between different hospital systems strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with different data formats (e.g., HL7, XML, CSV, etc.) and knowledge of basic networking and different connectivity solutions (e.g., VPN, SFTP, TCP-IP, etc.).

  • Experience working with different EMR vendors and/or Labs on connectivity projects

  • Facilitate client-facing design sessions to determine optimal workflow & technology solutions in support of new opportunities

  • Build consensus and present technology & workflow solutions based on design sessions and internal discussions

  • Develop project budgets, timelines & all design collateral required by customer.

  • Partner with field applications engineers to translate technical strategy into product qualification success.

  • Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of assigned partners and their focus end customers.

  • Proactive with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate across multiple disciplines, geographies, and cultures.

  • Collaborate with channel partner(s) to reveal not-yet-understood opportunities and challenges.

  • Develop deep technical relationships across assigned partners working towards trusted advisor status.

  • Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of assigned partners and their focus verticals.

  • Research, develop, document, and share reusable solution designs with partners and customers.

  • Act as the primary technical evangelist within assigned partners and customer(s) for future, emerging, and next-generation products and solutions.

  • Provide thought leadership for industry-specific mature & emerging patterns; build and execute industry and vertical solutions incubation framework.

  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills with the ability to create and drive vision across organizations.

  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of the customer implementation

  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.

  • Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project. Experience leading multifaceted projects on time and within budget.

  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.

  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.

  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals.

  • Manage project scope and changes, monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.

  • Track-record of building trust and earning influence in critical customer relationships.

  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work in a cross-functional virtual team environment.

  • Ability to define architecture and account strategy and align solutions to the overall Micron direction.

  • Experience working with channel partners including systems integrators, and national service providers.

  • Systems experience, which could include: Server Systems hardware architecture, design, test and troubleshooting; DRAM / SSD architecture in systems / solutions; Data Center Server Management

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists, and draft project plans

  • Ability to understand customer requirements and the impact on technical/functional performance of the application

  • Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Overall responsibility for the Technical Strategy and Solution design

  • Conduct Solutions Workshops with Stakeholders to drive an understanding of the “As-Is” and through your experiences develop a “To-Be” architecture

  • Coordinate and constitute the requisite technical resources per opportunity or initiative

  • Contribute to the authoring of technical proposals

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications - Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Strong analytical skills

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience and/or training, including at least 7 years of experience at the management level.

  • Minimum 10 years of design, implementation, consulting experience with distributed applications. Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.

  • Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.

  • Develops and implements financial policies and procedures.

  • Approves and oversees department budget.
